Recently, our two interns, Siang Jun and Ian Woo, completed their three-month internship programme with us at Treasure Training.
Before they left, we asked them to share their experience in their own words: what they learned, what stood out for them and what they will take away from their time with us. We were truly touched by what they wrote, and we'd love to share their reflections with you.
Here's what Siang Jun had to say:
"Throughout my industrial training, I gained valuable experience in training administration, marketing, and office operations. I was involved in various tasks such as creating and updating training programmes, preparing training materials, designing posters and eBrochures using Canva, managing promotional emails, and assisting in training sessions and webinars.
During my internship, I improved my communication, organisational, and time management skills by handling multiple tasks and meeting deadlines. I also learned how to use various digital tools, including Canva, AI applications, and online platforms for training management and promotion. These experiences helped me become more confident in completing tasks independently and working in a professional environment.
One of the most valuable aspects of this internship was the opportunity to gain practical knowledge that cannot be learned solely in the classroom. I was able to understand how training programmes are planned, promoted, and conducted, while also developing problem-solving skills through daily work responsibilities.
Overall, this industrial training was a meaningful and rewarding experience. It provided me with practical exposure to the working environment and helped me develop both technical and interpersonal skills that will be beneficial for my future career."
And from Ian:
"Today marks the end of my three-month internship with Treasure Training. I just want to take a moment to say a big thank you to my bosses and all my colleagues for making this experience such a wonderful and memorable one.
Throughout my internship I’ve learned much not only about work but also about communication, teamwork, responsibility and how to grow professionally. I truly appreciate all the guidance, support, patience and knowledge that everyone has shared with me along the way.
I’m grateful for every opportunity every lesson and even the little moments that made my internship enjoyable. The experience I’ve gained here is something I can definitely carry with me and apply in my work and daily life.
Thank you Treasure Training, for giving me such an experience and for making me feel welcomed during these three months. I’m really happy and grateful to have been part of the team. I’ll definitely miss everyone and the memories we’ve made together.
