Internship with Us – Beyond Sitting At Desk.

Today 30th September 2026 marks the last day of our three-month internship programme with two wonderful interns Siang Jun and Ian Woo who joined us from college. Three months may sound short, but for us, an internship should be more than simply completing a college requirement. It should be an opportunity for young people to experience the workplace, learn new skills, discover their strengths and gain a better understanding of what working life is really like.

Learning Beyond the Office During their three months with us, our interns were given opportunities to learn through both office-based training and real workplace experiences. They were introduced to our day-to-day operations and had the opportunity to understand how a training company works behind the scenes—from planning and marketing to coordinating training programmes and supporting participants.

But we also wanted them to experience what happens beyond the office. As a corporate training company, we conduct training programmes at hotels and various venues. They saw first-hand what happens behind the scenes—from preparation and registration to participant coordination and programme support. Our interns had the opportunity to join our team during these programmes and experience the actual operation of training events.

One of the unique opportunities internship with Treasure Training is being able to sit in and participate in some of our training programmes together with working professionals from different industries. They had the opportunity to listen, observe and learn alongside managers, executives and other professionals—and perhaps gain a better understanding of what employers expect from young talent.

Participating in Actual Field Trainings For young people preparing to enter the workforce, we believe these experiences can be just as valuable as academic knowledge. Our interns were exposed to topics such as:

• Job interview skills • People management • Leadership • Teamwork and communication • Workplace skills and professional development

Our interns were also given the opportunity to be part of a team-building programme conducted for one of our corporate clients. This allowed them to see another side of corporate training—they experienced the importance of teamwork, communication, coordination and adaptability.

We have also brought our interns along to an HRDC Open Day, where they had the opportunity to experience the environment and see how a professional organisation engages with businesses and participants. They were able to observe how questions and issues are handled and how HRDC engages with stakeholders in a real working environment.

And Yes… There Was Good Food Too! We, at Treasure Training believe an internship should also come with some good memories! They become part of the memories young people take away from their internship.

Our training programmes are held at hotels, our interns also got to experience the meals served during the programmes. We were happy to include them in the meals, so they could enjoy the full training experience with us. Every month brought a different training programme, a different hotel and, of course, another chance to enjoy some good food along the way!

Work experience + hotel experience + good food — not a bad way to spend an internship!

We Believe in Work-Life Balance While we encourage our interns and team members to learn, contribute and work hard, we also believe strongly in work-life balance. Our company operates on a five-day working week.

Why? Because we believe weekends should be a time to step away from work, spend time with family and friends, pursue personal interests and simply recharge.

Our philosophy is simple: Work hard. Learn continuously. Give your best. Rest and rejuvenate. A refreshed mind and body allows us to return to work with better energy, focus and creativity.

What We Hope They Take Away As our two interns complete their three-month journey with us today, we hope they leave with more than just an internship completion letter. We hope they take with them experience, confidence, workplace exposure, good memories and a better understanding of what it means to be part of a team.

Most importantly, we hope their time with us has helped prepare them for the next chapter of their journey.

To our two interns, thank you for being part of our team for the past three months. Thank you for your contribution, your willingness to learn and for being part of our training programmes and activities.

We wish you both every success in your studies, your future careers and whatever comes next.

Looking for an Internship That Offers More? To colleges, universities and students looking for internship opportunities, we welcome young people who are curious, willing to learn and ready to experience the real working environment.

At our company, we believe an internship should not simply be about “coming to work and completing the required hours.” It should be about learning, experiencing, participating and growing.

If you are looking for an internship where you can gain exposure to training operations, marketing, corporate events, teamwork and professional development, we would love to hear from you.

Your internship is the beginning of your working journey. Make it an experience worth remembering.
